Corporate & Personal gifts
The Charli Blue Collective was established to foster a vibrant community for local entrepreneurs and artisans, providing them with a platform to showcase and sell their handmade or handcrafted products. We aim to be more than just another gift shop; our mission is to nurture a sense of community and support local talent. Our owner has always valued homemade gifts, infused with love and care, and we strive to offer you unique pieces that you won’t find anywhere else.
Our diverse range of products can be personalized to suit any preference. Whether you need a gift for a birthday, a corporate event, or any special occasion, we have you covered. If you can’t find what you’re looking for in-store and feel hesitant about online shopping, inquire about our concierge service. We’ll help you locate exactly what you need, alleviating the risks associated with online purchases.
Our vision extends to providing a welcoming space where individuals can create their own masterpieces and connect through engaging creative activities, whether in our curated workshops or through personal projects. Additionally, we offer the opportunity for you to host your own small gatherings, such as birthdays or hen parties, in our creative studio.

Owner
Kim has always been a creative.
She has spent 30 years in the disability sector helping support people to learn, grow and reach their goals.
Even before her career started Kim wanted to do it all. Art, woodwork, graphic design, journalism, marketing, retail, hospitality and she has - mostly through her work in disabilities.
She was always the one who learnt alongside her clients. She always made sure it was not her being a 'know-it-all'. She learnt with her participants.
Kim worked with children, teens, and adults with disabilities - in home, in community, in school, in day programs and in residential settings. She has worked as a support worker, teacher's aide, Coordinator, Manager and Business Manager in the sector.
Over the years of working, Kim has become a Guardian for her brother Peter who is also creative. As children, they would lay on the floor and draw, colour and write for hours. As an adult she supports him to find the very best supports to bring out his creativity.
Kim wanted a space for others to be able to create (drawing, painting, clay, woodwork, sewing, and more). A space that if they choose, they could sell their pieces too.
Kim is a dog-lover. Dogs have always been in her life. And her first pet as an adult that she raised on her own was Charli. 16 years they spent together. He was by her side always.
The Charli Blue Collective was created in his memory.

Director of Happiness
Snuffy is 9 years old - despite the fact he is still as small as a puppy.
He spent every day of his life with his best friend Charli. They had one day apart when Charli needed to go in for surgery.
Snuffy misses his big brother very much but he is learning to live without him.
He loves people and people watching. He will sit for hours watching people.
He also loves dogs but he is anxious, excited and sometimes scared when he sees them and can become a little vocal.
Snuffy had a traumatic start to life before he came to us - with the previous dogs he lived with and his past owners. At 12 weeks old he had his jaw broken and was never treated properly. When we picked him up, we weren't told - later found out through his vet.
His specialist advises that he is fine as long as he continues to eat, drink and play well.
And the little tongue out the side is a cute factor.
He doesn't let it hold him back.
Snuffy can be a bundle of energy and also a quiet timid little boy.
He adores children and will often be seen walking along the water (marina to fly point) walking past people and looking up at them as if to say 'will you pat me'?
He loves the newly discovered 'beach' and breakwall though he doesn't like the water.
Snuffy puts a smile on people's faces wherever he goes.

Why is my store name Charli Blue?
The store is named after my furry friend (a Cavalier x Maltese named affectionately Charli Brown), who was my best friend for almost 16 years. Charli was the best dog.
Always gentle (unless you were the guy in the motorbike leathers), was endlessly curious and loved to learn new tricks.
Sadly Charli crossed the rainbow Bridge just before Christmas 2023 leaving a hole so big in my heart that I am creating a business to honour his memory.
